This Deleted Villain piece takes aim at internet outrage culture, fake controversy, performative reactions, and the constant need to turn everything into a public emergency. The front graphic recreates a corrupted social media post reading, “Somebody put ‘FAKE OUTRAGE’ on a T-shirt so I can buy it,” buried under heavy CRT static, VHS grain, scan lines, digital distortion, and signal interference.

It looks like a post pulled from a dying feed, frozen on a damaged television screen right before the signal disappears.

The back graphic takes the message and blows it up with oversized gothic “FAKE OUTRAGE” lettering. The distressed burnt parchment and dirty orange texture is cracked, scorched, and decayed, giving the piece the feel of an old warning graphic dragged through a broken broadcast.

The joke is simple. Everybody hates fake outrage until it becomes the content they are consuming.
